The Ron Kindrick and Dean Willcox Global Outreach Scholarship Fund is named in memory of Ron
Kindrick, late husband of Jan M. Willcox, D.O., Dean - Virginia Campus. Ron was a founding member of
the “SWAGƵFamily” and he enjoyed traveling extensively, with Jan by his side, participating on numerous
medical mission trips to assist families who were least fortunate. On these outreaches, Ron was a key
volunteer and was willing to assist with whatever tasks were presented to him. The scholarship fund will
provide awards to SWAGƵstudents who participate in the Global Health Outreach program for travel to
VCOM’s international sites.
