The accomplishment I am most proud of thus far in my career is growing a practice with my husband to take care of families in our community. Our office opened in 2014 and is very involved in the community. We participate in local events including parades, trunk-or-treat, and school physicals. Our office has also sponsored a local 15k for the past two years. Justin and I were chosen in 2016 by South Brunswick Magazine to be included as recipients of the Future 10, a group of professionals under 40 making a positive impact on the county.

I am pleased to be a DO because I believe in treating each patient as a whole unit, focusing on more than their physical symptoms and thinking about other factors such as emotional and spiritual needs. Many times, physical conditions can also be treated with changes in diet, exercise, sleep, and stress management. I enjoy being able to help my patients focus on prevention as well as cure.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and exercising. We also live near the beach and spend a lot of time there.

A career in medicine is worthwhile because it is constantly challenging me. It also gives me the opportunity to use my interests and skills to make a difference in the lives of others.
