SWAG视频has observed the unfolding story of violence occurring in Israel and the Middle East, including the loss of human life, and we are concerned about all within our campus community whom this violence has impacted.
We recognize that some of our students, faculty, and staff have friends and family at risk from this violence and destruction. We recognize that the news accounts of this violence can be terrifying, especially if you have loved ones in the region.聽聽Please remember that we have support systems in place for all of those impacted. For students, we have mental health counselors on each campus who are available to provide support. 聽We also have online counseling services for our OMS-3 and OMS-4-year students who may not be near campus. 聽Online counseling services are also available for faculty and staff, and information on these services can be accessed through human resources. We encourage those experiencing difficulty to reach out for these services.
All students,聽faculty, and staff must avoid acts of bias that would make your colleagues on campus feel unwanted or unsafe. The campus should be a place of support for all, including your classmates and/or colleagues.
Please recognize that the conflict is not here on our campuses, and each of us should seek to offer compassion, kindness, and support to our colleagues who are impacted.聽聽Keep all discourse open and respectful, as each of your classmates and colleagues impacted by these acts of violence are in need of support.
Regardless of your faith, please be mindful of all those in harm's way, and keep them in your thoughts or prayers.
