The position of Assistant Program Director for Clinical Affairs, will teach assigned coursework to Anesthesiologist Assistant students, oversee the Clinical Practicum portions of the curriculum and actively participate in curriculum development in collaboration with the Dean; develop, teach, monitor, and evaluates courses in the basic science, clinical, and simulation/skills development aspects of the graduate program; act as a resource for professional and community connections for personal and professional development; act as an academic adviser for the students and mentor for the comprehensive examinations; remain current in professional area of interest and participate in professional societies and activities, participate in all assigned, required, as well as other related professional services and activities in the MHSA Program; coordinate the clinical components of the Program.
