Anatomy is one of the basic science courses from which clinical knowledge and experiences are built on; thus, the SWAG视频curriculum incorporates the clinical sciences beginning in the first year of medical school.
The College has developed several resources to enhance the learning experience and aid students in recognition of clinically relevant structures and abnormalities, including the image library, plastinated specimens, diagnostic pathological library, and video archive of cadaveric dissection. Clinical presentations in the gross lab and during small group discussions emphasize the clinical relevance of anatomical structure and function.
The SWAG视频curriculum includes directed lectures and cadaver dissections in one of the most modern anatomy labs in the country. In each block, anatomy integrates clinically relevant diagnostic, radiologic, and surgical procedures to reinforce the lab experience.
